Role Overview

The intern will work closely with Meshcapade’s R&D team, contributing to the development of innovative methods in machine learning and computer vision that are transforming how digital humans are created and utilized. The role offers a chance to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to reshaping the future of digital human technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the R&D team to develop new machine learning techniques in the areas of marker-less motion capture, motion generation, motion understanding, and synthetic data generation.
• Assist with ongoing research projects and contribute to advancing Meshcapade’s research initiatives.
• Coordinate with mentors and the broader engineering team to help productize the latest research.
• Contribute to publications for leading computer vision, graphics, and machine learning conferences (e.g., CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, SIGGRAPH, ICLR, NeurIPS).

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD degree in computer science or a related field.
• Experience with 3D computer vision and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).

Bonus Skills

• Familiarity with the SMPL family of statistical human models.
• Experience with Unreal Engine, Blender, Unity, or similar tools.
